Cultivating the conditions in our lives that maximize flow involves reducing the unnecessary “noise” in our lives that distract us from full engagement. These include not only filtering out the unnecessary but also transcending self-limiting beliefs and self-destructive behavior patterns that interfere with full engagement. Flow training further cultivates the mindset, skills, and habits that support high flow experiences. Flow science has surfaced a methodology for more easily accessing flow states in life, and once achieved they become self-reinforcing.
