Flow States

Flow science is a rapidly growing field that explores the conditions that lead to optimal performance, fullfilment and skill development.  “Flow states” are associated with the most rewarding connections and achievements of our lives.  They represent the experiences in which we lose a sense of self and time and  become totally absorbed in activities that utilize our greatest skills and talents. When we are in flow, we function at our highest level with great amounts of creativity and effectiveness. 

 

Cultivating the conditions in our lives that maximize flow involves reducing the unnecessary “noise” in our lives that distract us from full engagement.  These include not only filtering out the unnecessary but also transcending self-limiting beliefs and self-destructive behavior patterns that interfere with full engagement.  Flow training further cultivates the mindset, skills, and habits that support high flow experiences.  Flow science has surfaced a methodology for more often achieving flow states in life, and once achieved they become self-reinforcing.
